While it's widely known that Ford employees benefit, many aren't aware that these plans extend their benefits to other shoppers, maybe even you and your neighbors. These unique plans are your chance to unlock savings for distinct customer groups, from employees to friends and family. Ford's A, Z, D, and X-Plans offer remarkable discounts. What is the Ford A-Plan?

Ford A-Plan pricing is explicitly designed for current Ford employees. Z-Plan pricing is available to former Ford employees in addition to their immediate family members and surviving spouses. Complete eligibility requirements are listed here:

  • All active full-time hourly employees & regular salaried employees, beginning with the hire date.

  • All hourly retirees receive a normal, early (regular or special), or disability retirement benefit, providing any medical benefits are currently active.

  • Salaried retirees who retired under the General Retirement Plan, including salaried employees who terminate between the ages of 50-55 and are eligible to receive certain deferred retirement benefits, are eligible while receiving benefits.

  • Surviving spouses of employees who died while actively employed and surviving spouses of retirees who retired under the General Retirement Plan or receive benefits under the Ford-UAW Retirement Plan.

  • All U.S. Temporary Part-Time employees (TPTs) are eligible for A-Plan in the U.S.

  • Employees on an approved leave of absence for the holiday or until the expiration of any medical benefits.

  • Employees on layoff for the first 12 months of the dismissal.

  • For employees taking a separation package, complete details on their AXZ-Plan privileges are included in their separation packet.

  • All regular part-time hourly and salaried employees can receive medical benefits.

  • Deferred Vested Retirees while they are receiving a Ford pension check.

  • Employees of approved subsidiary companies and approved affiliated companies as eligibility are defined at the time of approval.

  • Members of the immediate family of the above. "Immediate family" means the following relatives of the employee or retiree:

    • Spouse

    • Parents

    • Spouse's parents

    • Grandparents

    • Spouse's grandparents

    • Sons and daughters (including in-laws and stepchildren)

    • Grandchildren

    • Brothers and sisters (including in-laws, half, and step)

    • Same-sex domestic partners of eligible active employees

    • Immediate family members of eligible same-sex domestic partners

    • Nieces and nephews

  • Employees of approved subsidiary companies and approved affiliated companies as eligibility are defined at the time of approval.

When the employee/retiree and their spouse are deceased, the surviving family members are no longer eligible. Designed for active Ford Motor Company corporate employees, the A-Plan is Ford's best discount. Not only do those on the company payroll qualify for the most significant discount, but they also can exercise their buying prerogatives more often than participants in other plans.

In addition to full-time hourly and salaried employees, immediate family members of employees, same-sex spouses/partners and immediate family members, and surviving spouses of employees who died while still working for Ford are eligible for the A-Plan. Participants can use up to four PINs per calendar year to purchase or lease a new vehicle.

What is the Ford Z-Plan?

The Z-Plan is explicitly designed for Ford retirees and sets the stage for exceptional value. Often mentioned hand in hand with the A-Plan due to their shared benefits, together they form the A/Z Plan. Spouses and surviving spouses of retirees are included in the Z-Plan. Mirroring A-Plan participants, those under the Z-Plan umbrella, unlock the privilege of utilizing four PINs annually. It's your key to unlocking savings and securing your ideal Ford vehicle!

What is the Ford D-Plan?

What is the Ford X-Plan?

Unlock the power of the Partner Recognition Program, famously known as the Ford X-Plan, meticulously crafted by Ford Motor Company. This program is a tribute to the hardworking employees, retirees, and their cherished household members (verification through driver's license for residency) of chosen Tier-1 suppliers, business allies, fleet associates, and notable organizations with a unique bond to Ford Motor Company.

The opportunity for eligible Partner Recognition participants is twofold - they can generate up to two (2) PINs each year, opening doors to substantial savings on purchasing or leasing brand-new vehicles. This privilege extends to:

  1. Employees (full-time, part-time, and contract), retirees, and spouses of qualifying partner companies, suppliers, fleets, and specific organizations.

  2. Residents of the same address as the above participants (proof of residency via driver's license required).

Participation in this exclusive program is by invitation only, as determined by the discerning eyes of Ford Motor Company and Lincoln Motor Company. It's important to note that not all suppliers, fleets, and organizations are eligible.

But the X-Plan continues. With the Friends and Neighbors X-Plan, Ford Motor Company employees and retirees can sponsor many friends, neighbors, family members, or colleagues for remarkable discounts. The catch? Sponsors should be acquainted with the buyers they endorse and can seamlessly guide them through the plan's process.

Buyers following the X-Plan route must coordinate directly with their Ford Motor Company contact. Refusing discussions with dealers about a retail vehicle purchase is vital before diving into the X-Plan. The Ford Partner Recognition X-Plan paves the way for designated partners (like suppliers) to qualify for incredible vehicle pricing. And here's the cherry on top - those who meet the criteria for the X-Plan can access up to two PINs annually. How do I get a PIN?

Key things to note about your PIN:

  • A PIN remains valid for 12 months, making it your ticket to yearly savings. Once this period concludes, the PIN will gracefully expire and won't impact your PIN allocation for the year.

Which new Fords are eligible?

With certain exceptions listed below, plan participants can access any new Ford they want, including current and previous-year models that still grace our lot. Vehicles can be purchased or leased, though lease arrangements must go through Ford Credit. The plans cover only the price of the sale/lease.

Participants can still trade in their current vehicle, though the deal must be negotiated directly with the dealer. AutoNation Ford has a large inventory of certified pre-owned Ford and is always interested in offering top dollar for qualified trades.

Certain vehicles are not eligible:

  • Bronco (Excluded from the X-Plan, yet eligible for A, Z, and D-Plans)

  • Mustang Shelby GT350 and GT500

  • Mustang Bullitt

  • Ford GT

  • F-150 Raptor

  • F-450, F-550, and F-650 Chassis Cab

  • E-450 Cutaway

  • E-450 Stripped Chassis

  • F-53 Class A Motorhome Chassis

  • F-59 Commercial Stripped Chassis

How can I register for Ford plan pricing?

The first step is to acquire a PIN before completing the purchase or lease transaction on your next Ford. This special pricing is available exclusively to customers who identify as participating in the program and provide a PIN. You have two options for obtaining a PIN.
